Philip Honeywell studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Middlesex University before completing an MA in Drama and Performing Arts at Mountview Theatre Academy. His performance work has seen him travel the globe taking shows to the Far East and Australia as well as nationwide, with west end credits and even popping up in EastEnders too. Philip has worked extensively as a Teaching Assistant in SEN Schools before graduating to teaching drama from ages 5-18 at The Holmewood School, north London for two terms. Other work includes regular teaching placements at Pioneer School, Basildon, QEII Jubilee School in West London and frequent spells in Westminster Kingsway College and Kennet West Skills Centre.
Nancy Cunningham graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2009. Since then she has worked on a wide variety of different projects. For many years Nancy worked with Crow Theatre Company as both an actor and board member. She is currently working as an actor at the 'Maman Le Mot' experience at the London Bridge tunnels; she loves immersive theatre and every night is completely different, so you never quiet know what is going to happen! Alongside her acting work Nancy has been teaching children of all age groups, both in SEN and mainstream schools. She has worked in the classroom supporting pupils as well as a specialist drama teacher. Nancy also teaches comedy and drama every week at The Pauline Quirke Academy and has directed their new show 'The Lazy Ace' that will be showing at Her Majesty's theatre later this year.

The@trical was established in 2013 by a LAMDA graduate (James Rigby) and a children's lawyer (Claire Salama). We have a permanent team of four SEN drama specialists, led by James, alongside a rotating set of skilled freelane support. You can find out more about some of our team members below.
Bethan-Wyn Davies is an professional singer, songwriter and actress. She gained a Masters in Musical Theatre at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Some of her most recent credits include 'Sleeping Beauty’ in ROCK ’n’ ROLL musical (City varieties, Leeds), 'Alice' in 'Alice in Wonderland' (Madinat Theatre, Dubai) and 'The Follies' (UK tour). Bethan has been a regular teacher at The@trical for the past 4 years and has gained valuable experience working with students with various levels of learning difficulties. Given her experience within the arts she specialises in teaching dance, drama, music and yoga. She is delighted to be a part of the The@trical team and finds fulfilment working in such a positive and rewarding environment.
James Rigby studied English at Warwick University and trained as a teacher in Liverpool before completing 3 years at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He has performed in theatres up and down the country; his West End credits include Oliver at the London Palladium and the Olivier-Award winning Railway Children. He enjoyed four fantastic years at QEII Jubilee school working with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder before creating The@trical. He is exceptionally proud of his The@trical team and in particular the company's steady growth over the last few years.James continues to look forward to a series of successful performances where families and the wider community can see first hand the wonderful talents that SEN students possess.
